Happy Halloween…

From the Collin-der :)  Get it?!

 

On Friday night we went to Josh’s boss’s house to have a pumpkin carving contest with all of the people in those departments.  The most creative pumpkin:  swine flu pumpkin :)  Here’s most of the pumpkins all displayed :)  Ours is in the middle-we went for the traditional type of pumpkin.

We continued the tradition of hanging out with the Eaton family on Halloween.  This year we added a bunch of friends and some games to the mix.  It was a great time! :)

Hiking in the Mountains…

Momma and Chomp went hiking (walking in the mountains) at Forest Home with our friends the other day.  It was a perfect fall day, and we got to have lunch with Daddy!  YAY!

 

Hiking is TIRING! :)

Pumpkin to Chomp-a-lantern…

We got a pumpkin for Little Chomp.  He was not quite so interested.  He thought that his toys were better.

Finally caught on video…

Chompy has been rolling over, but he has been very camera shy about it.  This morning, he felt that he had perfected it enough to get that perfect 6.0 score.  So here you go!!!

Time to do some ab work :)  Yep, he actually can lift himself up from this position.  I was pretty impressed too!

 

Sooooo Flexible!  Stretching is important!  He can not get himself out of this position.  He keeps going forward until he’s lying on his tummy :)

The Gap…

Multiple people have mentioned that GAP is having a casting call for a spread in the winter and that we should enter Lil Chomp.   And, we did it!!    We figure that it’s worth a shot for some good pics of the baby boy and some free clothing and we think he’s sooooo cute.  Don’t worry—this is not at all like Toddlers and Tiaras.   We are normal :) We picked two pics that show off his personality --Hence, the tongue.  We just love our littlest love!

We love being 4 months old…

4 months old is soooooooo much fun, and happy, and giggly, and full of squeals!

Hanging with Addie…

We got to play for a couple of hours with our good friend Addie.  She and Little Chomp had a lot of fun playing together and watching The Incredibles (Addie got to choose).

 

Pediatrician and Rolling Over…

Josh took Lil Chomp to the pediatrician today for his 4 month well-baby check up.  He is looking good.  :)   He is 14 pounds 8 ounces (50th percentile) for weight and 26 inches (75th percentile).   So he’s still growing.  I’m not sure that I completely trust the height measurement though…it always seems to be a little of a estimate as he never lies still.   He got two more shots.  Dr. Smith checked on his eczema and said that it was looking ok.  And, he thinks that the irritability is probably from a virus (it looks like lots of viruses are going around).    We got the go-a-head to start him on solid foods.  So, look out little boy, next week, it’s all about cereal :) 

 

Here’s the video of Lil Chomp rolling over yesterday!  He can do it!  He’s just not quite sure how to get his arm out from under him yet.

Jumperoo….

Little Chomp got a Jumperoo for his 4 month birthday! 

He is so active that we really needed another option to help keep him learning and entertained.  So, after watching his friend Hope play in hers the last two months, we got one for him.   He seems to like it so far :)

Dressy Dressed up Guy…

Heather’s great friend Mia and her fiancé Jacob got Lil Chomp this really cute outfit.  The weather was perfect today to try it on.  He’s planning on going golfing later today :)  jk.   Oh, and on the eczema front, after a week and a half of hydrocortisone, antibiotic and another steroid cream, twice daily hypo allergic cream, and daily baths, it looks like we have this break out under control!  YAY!! :)
