Changes in a year…

So, one of momma’s friends wrote a post that showed how my friend had changed in the last year.  And, how much she likes all of the stages.  Momma thought you’d all like to see what a year did in my life.

Disneyland…

Momma and Daddy and I went to play at Disneyland today.  We had lots of fun.  Momma and  Daddy were surprised how different Disneyland is with me than before me.  We played a lot more in Fantasyland and didn’t go on any roller coasters.  It was not too crowded and we didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes for any of the rides.  We went on the Tea Cups, Storybook Land, It’s a Small World, The Carousal, Winnie the Pooh and Jungle Cruise.  I liked them all but I think that It’s a Small World and Jungle Cruise were my favorites.  Momma figured out that I’d be very happy waiting in line if she kept my snacks close to me so I could munch on them as we waited.

Trying to re-enact a picture of Daddy when he was little at this little door, only I didn’t want to stay still.  There was too much to do.  Maybe next time. 

 

On the Carousel…I got to ride a horsy around and around and around.  It was really fun!

My new Mickey Hat!

It’s a Small World…oooh, I loved this ride!!!

We went to Toon Town.  I played at Goofy’s House and Mickey’s House. 

Goofy’s slide is sooo fun!

Mommy and I giggled on the Jungle Cruise.  It was a silly ride :)

Disneyland is so full of adventures, that I had to go to sleep! 

14 months…a little late…

So, it’s been a little busy around here the last week since Chompy turned 14 months.  But, I’m finally getting to it.

There are lots of creatures in our backyard that Chompy is learning about.  He likes to watch them and learn their ASL signs.  This picture is a grasshopper on the flower.  Chompy chased it around our backyard as it jumped and jumped.

At 14 months, Chompy likes:

Saying:  Mama, Dada, Daddy, Bir (bird), Boo (book), Done, Hi, Bye bye

Signing:  Bird, Milk, Food, Up, Light, All Done, Doggie, Flower

Eating:  Ravioli, yogurt, water, milk, sweet potato fries, goldfish, cheerios, toast with jelly, strawberries

Running really really fast

Sharing, I mean stealing toys with his friends.

SWIMMING

Reading stories

Chasing, throwing, kicking balls

Showing everyone where the birdies are.

Playing with trucks and making trucks sounds when he moves everything, even his food around his tray.

Climbing up the couch and getting down, and then back up again.

Growing teeth- he still has four, but also has quite a few about to break through.

Being really happy one minute and then really sad and frustrated the next if he doesn’t get his way.

Still not sleeping through the night

Still not eating enough table food.
