5 Months Old…

Happy Birthday Little Chomp!

You are 5 Months Old now!

Here’s what Little Chomp likes to do now that he’s 5 months old:

1.  Roll over, and over and over and over and over.  We keep looking away for one second and he’s rolled himself to the other end of the room.  Amazing and super scary :)

2.  Talk---He mostly sounds like a monster of some sort.  Ahhhhh…..arghhhh….eeeeeeee….He’s a non-stop talker.

3.  Trying to get his bottle into his mouth on his own.  He now associates the bottle with food and any time he’s sees the bottle and is hungry he opens his mouth wide and reaches for it.  When we let him try himself, he can get it in his mouth, but doesn’t quite have the strength to support a full bottle himself yet.

4.  Look around and take everything in.  Just like when he was an itty bitty, he still studies things and looks like a little professor.  He’s such a curious little guy.

5. Eat, Eat, Eat…he’s still eating every 3 hours during the day and waking up once at night.  That’s about 30 ounces a day.

6.  Jump in his jumperoo-He loves this toy and has just figured out that he can move his legs and that the jumperoo will move with him.  Before this week, he would just stand there and play with the toys.   He’s also grown a lot in the last month.  When we got the jumperoo on his 4 month birthday, he couldn’t touch the floor even on his tippie toes, and we had to put a pillow under his legs, but now he doesn’t need the pillow and can stand flat footed.

7.  Going on walks…thankfully for Momma, he still loves being outside.  We are just starting to ease him into not being in his infant seat in the stroller for walks.  Some days he does well, other days not so much.

8.  He also plays a really fun game where he’ll grab a toy with one hand and then pass it in front of him to the other hand, set it down and do the whole thing over again in reverse.  It’s so fun to watch his development and see how his little brain is growing :)

Here’s the bear pictures! :)
