18 Months (ALREADY!) YIKES….

Chompy is now 18 months old.  1 1/2 years old…an official toddler!!  WOW! That went so fast!  I have a new perspective on baby-hood.  It’s over in an instant.  I hope to keep being able to cherish each milestone and moment with Chompy as he grows! Smile  He’s such a delight!

As he turns 18 months, he:

LOVES his trucks…making roads with them, driving them on people, lining them up and taking them down.

LOVES to read…especially his truck books (ironic), shapes and color books.

LOVES to eat…mac n cheese, raviolis, peaches, applesauce, spaghetti, waffles, jam, yogurt, marinara sauce, crackers of many types.  Does not love to each much else Winking smile

LOVES to run, and run, and run! 

LOVES the Disney movie CARS and Special Agent Oso…Mommy loves them too as they keep him focused for his twice daily medicines.

LOVES to slide

LOVES to say hi and bye bye to EVERYONE we meet ANYWHERE!! 

LOVES his bath time.

LOVES his blankies for nap time and bed time.  SOOOO Cute!

LOVES to help Daddy with yard work.

LOVES to help Momma with anything.

LEARNED to say these new words:  Papa, Grandma, Nana, Grandpa, Owen, Livy, Macy, please, Oso, Manny.

CAN POINT OUT:  all of his aunts, his friends’ parents

LOVES to tell you…where you nose, head, ears, eyes, teeth, toes, feet and belly button are.

LOVES to dance

LOVES to pretend to sneeze to get people to giggle.

LOVES to give hugs and kisses.

LOVES to sleep through the night (mostly—we still have 1/3 or so of the nights where he wakes up wet). 

LOVES to chase and be chased.

LOVES to say cheese.

DOES NOT LOVE to be told that he cannot do something. 

LOVES his grandparents!!!

LOVES our Christmas tree and will say “lights” and “tree” when he comes into the room.

DOES NOT LOVE Santa. (Picture to come)

 

We love you Chompy face and are still very thankful that we are your parents!!!!!!!!
